Wavetronix click! 400 Series Wireless Data Converters Simple Type: Analog-to-Digital Converter

The simple connectivity of the Click! 400 series of wireless data converters makes it easy to integrate the Wavetronix SmartSensor into existing wireless data networks. As part of the Wavetronix Click! family, the 400 series offers easy-to-use communication solutions that deliver the most accurate traffic data possible. Click! 400 series modules are DIN rail mounted and include hot-swappable connection buses and pluggable screw terminals for easy installation. The slim design allows the modules to operate as stand-alone products or in conjunction with other Click! devices, and the durable, low-power devices are designed to operate in extreme conditions. Front-panel LED indicate proper set-up and operation, and all of the modules are equipped with multiple connection ports for user convenience. The Click! 401 Serial to 802.11b Converter Module allows serial devices like the SmartSensor to communicate over 802.11b by converting either RS-232 or RS-485 communication to 802.11b communication and vice versa. The 401 device can also perform serial conversions and uses either 802.11b or serial interfaces to con?gure its communication baud rates. For modem-based communication systems, the Click! 402 GSM Modem offers remote access to SmartSensor and other compatible ITS devices. The modem complies with telephone systems world-wide and connects to all standard RS-232 devices with a maximum RS-232 rate of 115.2 kbps. The Click! 403 Serial to Bluetooth Converter Module allows Bluetooth communication with SmartSensors and other serial devices. The convenience of Bluetooth communication allows users to monitor sensors after installation is complete without physically connecting to the sensor or peripheral device. Like the 402, the 403 can perform RS-232 to RS-485 as well as serial to Bluetooth conversions.
